Hey everyone. This is Tyler here, and welcome back to my computer and consumer electronics blog.
Something you guys might not be aware of, is that over the past 6 months I’ve gotten into my health and fitness. One of my favourite new items I bought this year was my second hand NutriBullet. I bought it online used, which meant that I was able to purchase it for a bargain price.
There’s so many uses for my NutriBullet and I wanted to give you a quick review on why I love it and can’t imagine my days without it. It’s become my new favourite device after my Nokia phone.
What is the NutriBullet?
The NutriBullet is a compact blender, which consists of a base power unit, and separate jugs or cups, with removable blades and lids. The jug and cup works as the unit to blend the items in as well as the receptacle from which you consume the mixture you have produced.
The idea behind the Nutribullet comes from the same people who made the Magic Bullet and similarly to the Magic Bullet the idea is that they make the most out of every piece of food. The Nutribullet blitzes and blends whole fruits, vegetable and seeds to release nutrition you might not get from them otherwise.
One of the awesome things about buying the NutriBullet rather than a knockoff version, is the NutriBullet Booklet. The booklet provided by NutriBullet is packed full of information about using your NutriBullet. But even better than that is that for a fitness and health newbie like myself is that the NutriBullet booklet includes extra information. Information about whih foods you should be eating, how to use the NutriBullet as part of a meal and diet plan, as well as recipes for using the NutriBullet, and recipes like Soups and Main Meals which don’t use the NutriBullet.
Looks and Features.
My favourite part of the NutriBullet is how small and compact the blender is. Unlike a conventional blender it can easily be hidden away in a cupboard or at the back of a counter in a small kitchen for later use. It’s simplistic and modern in design, and is lightweight meaning that moving it around doesn’t take too much time or effort.
Rather than pressing a button to switch the Nutribullet on you press down on the cup attached to the blender and twist it to lock it into place which causes the motor to start running and the blades to blend away. It works great at mixing the ingredients throughout the cup although you can shake it upside down to help along the way if necessary.
You can also use the NutriBullet to grind up seeds and nuts, oats and grains into meal. Using the Milling Blade provided you can achieve a fine meal flour in seconds. It is also able to break down ice into smaller pieces, something its Sister model the Magic Bullet can’t do.
The green smoothie that’s good for your heart.
Even if you don’t think you’re a big fan of green smoothies this one is sure to persuade you to come to the light side. Full of sweet fruits like banana and strawberries, it cancels out the green taste you might associate with the smoothies. And using frozen ingredients is a great way of cooling down the smoothie for drinking as well as thickening it up. It also makes it taste creamy as a result!
2 cups of Spinach
¼ cup of Cucumber
¼ of an Avocado
½ a Frozen Banana
3 Frozen Strawberries
½ cup of Pineapple
2 leaves of Basil
1 tbsp Chia seeds
1 tbsp Hemp seeds
1 tbsp Coconut Butter
1 cup of Coconut Water
½ cup of Water
And for the simplest step by step guide in the world.
Add ingredients to the NutriBullet Tall Cup.
Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth.
As I said, the easiest and simplest recipe in the world. And to me that’s the beauty of the NutriBullet. There’s no effort or time involved. Simply add all the ingredients and blend away.

So should you buy the NutriBullet?
If you are someone who is interested in your health, or someone who enjoys their fitness then I don’t see why not! If you’re someone who struggles to eat all your recommended fruits and vegetables for the day, then I don’t see why not! It’s neat compact size, and it’s easy to use design mean that it can become an everyday staple and fit neatly into nearly every kitchen. The fact that most fruits and vegetables can be fit whole into each recipe rather than having waste means you’ll get more nutrients and vitamins than ever before. However don’t just listen to me, look online and see hundreds and thousands of other peoples reviews!
